ENEC is the high quality European mark for electrical products that demonstrates compliance with European safety standards. Among other things ENEC guarantees  an optimal operation of the flourescent lamp by the tested ECG. This means, that the guaranteed lifetime of the fluorescent lamp will be reached.

In the Single European Market the CE-sign documents for technical products the minimum standard in the question of security.
