"Environment Award 2009" to resoswitch GmbH For the first time the ministry of the environment of the german Bundesland "Baden-Württemberg" gives an award in 2009 for innovative products in the area of green technology.
One of the awards the jury has given to resoswitch GmbH, which was founded in 2005. The reason for this award is the new external ECG "resolite T5" that can be plugged on a T5 fluorescent lamp. Konventional T8 fluorescent lamps can be replaced very easy by the new T5-technology. The system consits of three components: the ECG (electronic control gear), the reflector wich guarantees a constant illuminance and the T5 lamp. This system has the mechanical dimension of a T8 lamp, so the system "resolite T5" can be put in luminaires which were designed for T8 lamps. With this new product, energy consumption can be reduced up to 45 percent. By the way lifetime of the fluorescent lamp is doubled. The external ECG "resolite T5" is ENEC certificated by the german testing laboratory VDE. |
